Senior Consultant, IPT
Insight Direct USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Consultant, IPT for its New York, NY location and various unanticipated client sites. The Senior Consultant, IPT plans, designs, implements, upgrades and supports various unified communication systems including Cisco CallManager, Cisco Unity, IP Contact Center, CallManager Express, Unity Express, Unity Connection, Interactive Voice Response, Automatic Call Distributors, Computer Telephony Interface, Emergency Responder, Presence, Mobility Advantage H.323, MGCP, and SIP. Assesses existing client PBXs (Avaya, Nortel, NEC) and facilitates transitions to Cisco CallManager, Unity, CME and CUE. Configures, maintains and upgrades Cisco routers and Cisco switches. Performs network readiness and telephony assessments. Implements TCP/IP services such as DHCP/DNS/WINS. Creates and maintains Microsoft Visio documents and creates technical training programs for client system managers on maintenance and for end-users on functions and features of systems. May supervise 3 Consultants. Will travel approximately 40% to various unanticipated client sites. Majority of travel is to northeastern United States. Position reports to NY, NY office but may telecommute when not at client sites. Due to travel requirements, may elect to live anywhere in northeastern United States.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management, or Computer Engineering plus five years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in position offered; as Senior Consultant, IPT; Software/Systems Engineer; or Senior Consultant. Will accept five years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any single title listed or a total of five years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in these titles combined. For experience to substitute, must include five years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience: 1) planning, designing, implementing, upgrading, and supporting Cisco CallManager, Cisco Unity, CallManager Express, and IP Contact Center; and 2) configuring and maintaining Cisco routers and Cisco switches.
