Analyst II- BTD Lead
US Airways, Inc. seeks an Analyst II- BTD Lead for its Tempe, AZ location. Performs quantitative analysis of complex business processes, technical design, reporting options, and process methodologies related to Oracle EBS financial system, including fixed assets, purchasing, cash reconciliation and accounts receivable modules. Acts as team lead by developing project scope, implementation plans, risk/benefit analysis and feasibility analysis for Oracle EBS Financial system applications component of enterprise-wide projects. Develops issue submission, tracking and escalation metrics for projects to assure optimal and timely implementation. Troubleshoots technical and project obstacles as they arise. Formulates recommendations and consults with the technical team on implementing modifications which optimize functionality of Oracle EBS financial system applications projects. Utilizing standard development methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile, creates detailed design specifications, codes, test scripts and technical documentation for complex projects addressing system integration, compatibility and multiple platforms for Oracle EBS financial system modules. Identifies and troubleshoots user problems related to Oracle EBS Financial system modules and identifies and implements enhancements and new features. Utilizing Oracle Reports and Forms developer software, Java (Oracle Application Framework), Oracle Workflow, Oracle Business Intelligence Tools, UNIX shell scripting, and PL/SQL programming, codes and runs unit tests of solutions, develops solutions for system testing and provides technical support during user acceptance testing. Utilizing Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL programming, develops customized software applications and is responsible for UNIX, Linux, and Solaris system integration. Acts as technical team lead by training and evaluating junior developers.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems and four years of experience in job offered; as Analyst; Programmer Analyst; Oracle Applications Technical Consultant; or Software Engineer. Employer will accept four years of experience in any single title or any combination of these titles. For experience to substitute, experience must include four years of experience: 1) Utilizing standard development methodologies to create detailed design specifications, codes, test scripts and technical documentation addressing system integration, compatibility and multiple platforms for Oracles EBS Financial system modules; 2) Identifying and troubleshooting user problems related to Oracle EBS Financial system modules and identifying and implementing enhancements and new features; and 3) Utilizing Oracle Reports and Forms developer software, Oracle Business Intelligence Tools, and PL/SQL programming to code and run unit tests of solutions, develop solutions for system testing and provide technical support during user acceptance testing.
