Transportation Driver, PT DaysMasonic Villages is seeking a part-time Transportation Driver to work Days, including occasional evening and weekend availability, for the Sewickley Campus.
The person in this position is responsible for transporting Masonic Village at Sewickley residents on campus shuttles, local trips, outings and medical transportation.
Other duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:
*Check general operation of all vehicles with special attention to daily checks of all safety equipment. Report vehicle equipment malfunctions to the Transportation Coordinator.
*Maintain gas tanks in vehicles at full level.
*Keep all buses neat and clean.
*Assist passengers in and out of vehicles in accordance with their physical capabilities. Maneuver wheelchairs into position and be able to safely secure them in wheelchair bus.
Candidates for this position must:
*Be available and willing to work approximately 15-20 hrs per week on the day shift
*Be available to occasionally work evenings and weekends (maybe once a month)
*Have a high school diploma or GED
*Maintain current regular Pa driver's license
*Maintain a current CDL license with passenger endorsement AND current medical examiner's certificate from Concentra.
The preferred candidate for this position will have experience working with the elderly and a familiarity with the Pittsburgh area.
