Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Demonstrates comprehension of basic disease processes. Demonstrates competence in administering oral, topical, intramuscular, subcutaneous and intradermal medications. Demonstrates knowledge of common Maintenance medications and Nursing protocol to refill and advise. Demonstrates competency in suture/staple removal. Demonstrates ability in interpreting test results and notifies appropriate Medical Staff of results as necessary. In addition to the General Nursing requirements: Demonstrates ability to complete allergy skin testing. In addition to General Nursing requirements: Able to assist with small procedures, biopsies, excisions and giving appropriate wound care and other patient instructions. Assist with laser procedures especially aftercare. Knowledge of application of PUVA therapy. ENT In addition to General Nursing requirements: Able to assist with small procedures, biopsies, wound care and other patient instructions. Able to schedule all physicians surgeries efficiently. Documented successful completion of ENT competencies. See Internal Medicine and Pediatrics In addition to General Nursing requirements: Demonstrates ability to cleanse, set up, and test flexible sigmoidoscopy equipment. Able to provide patient education and accurately schedule for all procedures.
