Patient Access Associate
Job Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Must be a current employee to apply. Communicates with patients, families, physicians, quality review and Insurance companies to obtain information and Insurance verification through electronic verification system and to assure quality patient care and collection of co pays, deductibles if applicable. Interviews and registers patients. Provides other registration support as required. Education: High school graduation or equivalent. Medical terminology preferred. Experience: One year related health care experience. One-year experience in Harbor Access Department, passing with 80% on Harbor s registration competency test.
