Administrative Assistant/ Event Coordinator
Job Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Job Responsibilities and Requirements: This position is ideal for an Administrative Assistant who also has a passion for event Planning/coordination. This Non-Profit works with numerous Boston companies and needs a task oriented individual to assist in the Planning and organization of trainings, events and conferences. The successful candidate will also provide Administrative assistance to the program Staff. Event Coordination -Lead event coordination for foundation events and large meetings -Organize event speakers, advertisers, exhibitors, sponsors and vendors -Arrange all Logistics (venues, catering, contracts, speakers, etc.) for programs and events -Manage invitations and registration process -Communicate with and assist attendees with General questions and registration as well as represent the company during events -Coordinate Staff and Volunteer duties for events -Provide onsite help for meetings/events Administrative support - Calendar Management - Meeting scheduling - Preparation of meeting materials - Telephone interface - Administrative support (letters, emails, etc.) - Organization and filing Requirements - Experience providing Administrative support and a passion for event Planning - Bachelor s Degree strongly preferred - Excellent organization and communication skills - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
