Temp to Hire Position

A leading manufacturer is in need of an Electrical Designer to support and maintain machine design, prepare detailed designs of Programmable Logic Controllers and experienced in the programming of PLCs based on written and verbal specifications of the machinery function. Assist in the preparation of specifications, BOMs and cost estimates for customer driven requirements, as well as, troubleshoot panel build, assembly and service issues as required.

Required Skills for this Electrical Designer position includes the following:

3-5 years experience in Machine Assembly or equivalent production environment.

Completion of a two-year Electrical Technical program (Industrial Electricity, ITT, etc) or equivalent experience.

Experience programming Modicon PLC's.

Basic AutoCAD experience.

Demonstrated ability to:

• Prepare thorough detailed drawings and programs.
• Provide sound design judgment and the contribution of technical knowledge on cross-functional teams.
• Accept responsibility and accountability of new and varied assignments.

Excellent technical, verbal communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
