Civil/Structural Engineer - P.E.

Volt Technical Resources is looking for an experienced Civil/Structural Registered Professional Engineer to execute work involving municipal engineering for local and state projects. The Engineer will manage and assemble municipal project design, exercising judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Conceptualizes the initial mechanical design approach for major phases of large facilities type projects, or have overall responsibility for the mechanical work on a project of limited scope. Review plans and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents and estimates. This position will entail 40% Civil and 60% Structural Engineering.

Primary Responsibilities:

Development, implementation and administration of building new client groups within local market area.

Serve as the primary contact with local counsel, County Commissioners, etc.

Required Skills for this Civil/Structural Engineer position includes the following:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with emphasis in both.

PE license.

Experience and comfort in public speaking and presentations.

Experience on Facilities, Schools, Churches, Medical and Office buildings.

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
