12+ Month Contract Position

Volt is looking for candidates with experience in helpdesk and ticket tracking, and installing hardware, software and peripheral components, such as, monitors, keyboards, printers, disk drives, etc. The Helpdesk/PC Technician will be responsible for isolating and resolving hardware and software related problems, and coordinating efforts with Project Lead. Heavy documentation of all tasks and superior customer service skills are mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of commonly used distributed systems services (Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc).

Required Skills for this Help Desk/PC Technician position includes the following:

4 years experience with Microsoft Windows and PC Desktop Support.

Two year college degree or equivalent.

A+, Network+ and MCP in current Microsoft Desktop platform (XP or Vista), or equivalent.

Four year college degree and MCSE/MCSA, CCNA, or equivalent preferred.
