Technical Sales Engineer
6-12 Month Contract
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for:
Proactively follow-up via phone to prospective customers trialing software, attend key events and targeted webinars.
Determine targets of call attempts, transition rates and leads sent to Sales.
Demonstrate an ability in attaining goals.
Exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics on: call attempts, leads to sales, sales opportunities and mutual sales goals with team.
Establish strong working relationships with division technical marketing, field application engineers and account managers.
Required Skills for this Technical Sales Engineer position includes the following:
Customer Support Engineer, Field Application Engineer, Account Manager, or related within Technical Marketing experience.
BS/BA degree in Technical field.
Minimum of 2 years lead development and/or inside-sales experience in technology industry.
Knowledgeable of CRM applications.
Strong technical aptitude and business acumen.
Excellent customer relations skills and an understanding of the evaluation to sales through closing process.
Articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Driven, self-organized and results oriented.
Proven reputation for exceeding lead development and team sales targets.
