Test Engineer with Electrical Engineering Experience
C/C++, Windows Application/Device Driver
12+ Month Contract Position

This position will be providing support for a structural tester development program. Working as part of a twenty plus person team, the Test Engineer's primary responsibility will be providing software test development and validation support to a software engineering group. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Software Engineer who has performed electrical engineering on the side or in limited capacity.

Job functions:

Determining test coverage requirements.

Developing software to provide test coverage.

Validating test software performs, as expected, on hardware platforms in lab.

Secondary support may include supporting validating application and circuit performance on a variety of custom designed hardware.

Required Skills for this Test Engineer position includes the following:

C/C++ programming experience

TCL, Python or other scripting language experience

Experience with Windows application and device driver programming

Assembly or embedded programming experience

Ability to function in a team environment, yet successful at being self-directed

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):

Developing software for RTOS environments

Practical experience developing hardware, including circuit design, schematic development, debug of new designs

Experience utilizing equipment to debug hardware, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other benchtop equipment
