4-6 Month Contract Position
Information Analyst Associate will assist in the development, analysis and reporting of process, departmental, financial, non-financial and product performance data. (Assignments can be specialized or general.)
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
50% - Prepare complex analyses of data across all critical business functions and processes in the division.
30% - Assist in developing systems and reports to extract and combine data from a variety of sources; maintain databases; design performance measurement models to assist in the monitoring and analysis of operating performance; design and program end-user applications.
20% - Administer the development, implementation, and maintenance of data integrity checks/quality assurance procedures.
Required Skills for this Information Analyst Associate position includes the following:
A degree in Business, Math, Information Systems or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
3 years progressively responsible and/or diverse experience in Group Insurance.
Ability to assist in defining and directing analytical studies, work on several projects concurrently lead and participate in a variety of team activities, as well as, plan and organize work, and interact effectively with key company personnel.
Possess working knowledge of data structure and system design concepts, Microsoft Access and Excel; group division objectives, procedures, automated systems, the organization's group insurance products, including underwriting, commission processing, contract generation, and business environment; relational database concepts; and record layouts and data models residing in multiple systems.
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
