Mortgage Loan Officer/Consultant
You’ll focus on promoting a wide range of mortgage products….FHA, VA, conventional, home equity, etc. Those who can make a positive impact on new business growth. You’ll interact with real estate agents, developers, attorneys, builders. Develop the kind of supportive relationships that lead to referrals and an expansion of your loan portfolio. Expect to perform data compilation and analysis, particularly when working with multifaceted or complex borrowers; counsel and sell your customers on the advantages and disadvantages of different financial products; and be a client advocate throughout the entire loan process. You will also be a valuable resource in mentoring and on-the-job training of new mortgage representatives.
We’re looking for a talented sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, who will listen to and analyze client needs, and respond with solid financial solutions.
Job Requirements
· High School Diploma or educational equivalent
· Thorough understanding of underwriting criteria and guidelines
· Mortgage banking background preferred with a proven track record of success
· Ability to generate annual production volumes of $10 to $12+ million
· Public speaking skills with the ability to make presentations
· Ability to education borrowers on loan products and process
