Essential Functions

Position is responsible for inside sales and purchasing

§  Work with walk-in customers

§  Field incoming city desk calls 

§  Create and follow up on job quotes

§  Work with existing customer base to increase market share

§  Develop and increase sales of entire product line

§  Acquire new customer base

§  Quote and track jobs,  give technical information and provide product submittals

§  Gain product knowledge of entire scope of product lines

§  Stay current with industry trends and market information

§  Inventory purchasing responsibilities

§  Track inventory levels, vendor orders, internal purchase orders

Requirements Job Qualifications

§  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

§  2+ years of sales experience.  Distribution sales is a plus.

§  Strong verbal and written communication skills

§  Work hours 7am – 5pm M-F

§  Independent and strong work ethic

§  Ability to prioritize several tasks and projects

§  Strong computer/keyboarding skills required. Word, Excel and Outlook experience preferred

§  Specific interior finish construction industry and product knowledge is beneficial, but not a prerequisite.
