Job Summary – Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
 
Perform occupational therapy programs under general supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Assist in administering programs involving functional skills. Instruct, motivate and assist residents in learning and improving functional skills.

Current State License and NBCOT certification
 
Physical Demands
 
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Walking, standing, bending, stooping and sitting for extended periods. Full use of gross and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use insight when utilizing applicable tests and equipment.
 
Travel
 
May accompany a resident to an appointment or home assessment, assist at other centers and/or attend company sponsored meetings.
