Founded in 1985, AGV Sports Group is one of the oldest rider-owned and operated apparel companies in the motorcycle industry today. Born in the early day of AGV helmets entry into the US market, AGV Sports' helmet origin gave it a unique outlook in the motorcycle apparel industry. Our goal is to make the intern program equally beneficial to the intern and the company. We will challenge our interns to work hard and make a real contribution to helping the organization grow as well as to manage the day to day operations. Interns at AGV Sports Group will do real work while they are here. Interns completing the program will have practical experience which will give them the advantage when applying for positions in the real world. A successful internship at AGV Sports Group will help the intern achieve employment after graduation as well as achieve the highest possible starting salary.
Marketing interns at AGV Sport will be trained on creating marketing plans, sales techniques and sales closing methods. Goals will be set and a game plan will be established to help interns achieve and surpass goals. The intern program is designed to focus on advance sales in a fun and exciting environment.
Your duties will include:
·Working as a team with other interns to plan and implement one complete promotional even per quarter under guidance of AGV Sport staff.
·Actively promoting existing AGV Sport events and programs.
·Help develop and refine the overall AGV Sport student marketing plan.
·Coordinate with graphics and other marketing interns to complete a promotional event under guidance of AGV Sport staff
·Research, plan and execute Public Relations and Marketing Materials
·Maintain media contacts with specific media vehicles that AGV Sport advertises with.
·Proactively promote and publicize AGV apparel with Various media outlets.
·Other duties as assigned—general office work
There are some characteristics that we desire from our marketing interns.
They should have excellent organization and interpersonal skills, multi-task oriented, self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team, strong writing skills, competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (or desire to gain competency).
The internship is open for a minimum of three months with flexible hours depending on situation and school requirements. This is an unpaid internship, but college credits are available. International students welcome.
