RedPrairie TMS Business Analyst - 13387

Duties: Full time contract to hire position responsible for RP TMS Business Systems Analysis.  Will gather, organize and document Requirements; define Project Scope with Business; facilitate Requirement sessions with Business; document Business Scenarios; write Functional Specifications; interface with Technical Leads; create system test cases and user acceptance test cases; execute system test cases; execute user acceptance test with Business; write training guides; train users; plan implementation; and support Go Live.  Consult and work with external customers working closely with the Business Project Manager to complement project initiative; lead IT tasks for on-boarding of new customers; provide IT Project Lifecycle Leadership; ensure that IT solution scope and solution meets customer needs.  Troubleshoot system application issues and provide daily Application Support of Transportation applications including: Parcel Shipping ; Legacy Transportation application; RedPrairie TM application; RedPrairie Integrator; and all Integration Interfaces. 

Ideal Background:Bachelors degree and 7+ years of Business Analysis experience in Transportation and Distribution with RedPrairie application experience.  3PL Experience with Project Lifecycle and application support; prior technical and QA background.  Knowledge of: 2008.1 TM application; RedPrairie Integrator impact and change, DDA's; RedPrairie Report Writer Tool; RedPrairie EMS Tool.  Requires a strong technical background including: SQL; SQL Server; RUP and UML; Use Cases; Business Scenarios; System Flows using Visio; and MS Office Suite.
