FUNCTION
 
We currently have multiple openings for International Tax Professionals at our clients across the country. Current openings include: 
 
  • International Tax Compliance Manager
  • International Tax Attorney
  • International Tax Director
  • International Tax Manager
 
Successful applicants will be responsible for all aspects of U.S. outbound international tax compliance and will be involved in planning for a multi-national industrial service company. Areas of responsibility will include oversight and preparation of U.S. international tax compliance, income tax accounting, project oriented tasks, research and planning. 
 
Prepare and review the preparation of forms: 5471, 5713, 8858, 1118, U.S. outbound disclosures and elections, and the calculations related to other required international filings.
 
  • Review and manage the relevant work of other international tax professionals.
  • Coordinate with domestic tax to insure all international tax information is properly and timely reported on the consolidated U.S. income tax return.
  • Maintaining and supervising the maintenance of the company’s U.S. international tax attributes including: managing the collection of data from foreign affiliates and monitor related international deadlines; maintaining U.S. Foreign Tax Credit models; reviewing and maintaining earnings and profit and tax basis calculations; preparing and maintaining APB 23 schedules; reviewing and maintaining global tax attributes; reviewing supporting schedules such as allocation and apportion of interest and R&D expenses used in calculating the company’s foreign tax credit.
  • Prepare and review U.S. international tax portions of SEC tax provision.
  • Take responsibility for and ownership of international tax compliance function from data gathering to completion of tax return.
  • Proactively seek solutions to tax attribute management that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax data collection and reporting.
  • Assist divisional tax liaisons on global transfer pricing policies and procedures including the preparation of the contemporaneous documentation required to be maintained under U.S. and foreign tax rules.
  • Research international tax issues at a moderate to difficult level of complexity.
  • Assist with the international portion of the IRS’ audit of the company's U.S. tax return.
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
 
  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of three years of international tax experience from a national accounting firm or a large multi-national company.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA or JD certification.
  • Master’s degree or LLM in Taxation.
  • Broad exposure to federal and/or international income taxation.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detailed knowledge of U.S. tax law for outbound international investments.
  • Basic knowledge of tax regimes in non-U.S. jurisdictions.
