Location - Texas (West of San Antonio)  

Doctors have come to our facility and stayed for many years on end. We had a Dr, OB/GYN come to our facility as a J-1 from Egypt and has been with us for 9 years.

·         Strong community need.

·         No call at the clinic

• Call is 3 days a month at the hospital and they are compensated by the hospital.
• If physician leaves town and has a patient in the hospital, they must leave another physician in town in charge.  
• If physician leaves town with no patients in hospital, out of courtesy to their patients we ask they leave another physician in charge to take care of any of their patients if they happen to come in sick. Some physicians even if they do not have a patient in-house will still call the ER to let them know that they will be gone for the weekend and that they have no coverage and that the physician on call will take their patients or that they may be transferred to San Antonio if a specialty is needed and a specialty is not in-town. 

Job Description / FAMILY PRACTICE (no OB)

·         BC/BE MD/DO; J-1, H1-b

·         Contract thru 9/30/2012

·          Sign on bonus - $25,000

·         Relocation allowance – $10,000

·         7,500/yr allowance for CME tuition, publications, books, license renewal

·         $5,000/yr allowance for CME travel, lodging, meals

·         85% of cell phone paid monthly

·         Pager furnished

·         Malpractice insurance furnished.

·         35 days Holiday, vacation, sick leave
