Business Development Manager
Volt is currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to assume client development responsibility and maintenance of existing clientele. The ideal individual will achieve high results by identifying decision-makers within an organization, building a relationship with those individuals and ultimately securing their business. Bring your talent to an industry leader in a well-established territory!
Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:
Maintain existing business via quality calls and visits.
Mushroom existing accounts in order to secure more business for the entire Volt organization.
Prospect new business, found via leads, networking, job boards, etc.
Qualify viable orders with clients.
Team-up with other BDMs in order to cross sell different departments of Volt, pass leads and brainstorm on how to permeate certain accounts.
Work closely with the Management team to ensure efficient operations and customer service for clientele.
Identify administrative, professional and manufacturing needs throughout the downtown Seattle marketplace.
Solidify Volt's presence in the local marketplace through consistent participation in networking organizations and events.
Promote a team atmosphere with Recruiters ensuring efficiency and strong communication. Contribute to keeping a professional, positive atmosphere throughout the office and organization.
Required Skills for this Business Development Manager position includes the following:
2+ years Sales experience in a service industry
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Relationship building and maintenance skills
Strong negotiating and team leading skills
Technical skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, CRM, etc
Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills
Solid communication skills
