12+ Month Contract Position

The Network Engineer will be accountable for capacity planning, improvement and maintenance of onsite and remote network infrastructure and related components.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Setup, configure and support internal/external networks with a diverse group of hardware.

Monitor systems through various communication methods.

Configure and maintain enterprise routers, switches, firewalls and load balancing hardware.

Maintain security systems to include all aspects of network security.

Desktop support for employees.

Required Skills for this Network Engineer position includes the following:

Expertise in Linux and Windows Systems Administration

Shell scripting experience

Thorough understanding of network technology and security principles (DNS, SSL, AD, TCP/IP, etc)

Expertise with complex, heterogeneous networking environments

Experience with web and application servers
