RN - OR (Experienced Only)

OR RNs with 2+ years open heart, ophthalmology, neuro, and trauma experience - Must take call.  

Responsibilities: 

1.  Implements and documents the Nursing Process for population specific patient care delivery to include the complex patient/family.  May function as Provider or RN-M based upon completion of competencies.

2.  Participates in performance improvement/research activities.  Participates in activities that promote improvement of patient care/patient satisfaction.  Expands/shares knowledge of nursing practice.

3.  Functions as an active team member and demonstrates leadership qualities.  Has met competencies for RN Provider and when appropriate has met competencies for RN-M within PCT CareModel.

4.  Demonstrates and enhances professional growth and development, maintains and enhances clinical competency.  Remains current in nursing practices. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Current registered nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required.
