 Director of QualityJob Function:
The Quality Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and directing all aspects of the Quality department. This position is responsible for the management of the ISO based Quality system, document control, training and calibration. This position requires an individual that will be hands on through out the entire process.

Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a quality assurance organization
- In-depth knowledge of various quality concepts (e.g., Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, ISO, etc.)
- Industry recognized quality certification (Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, ASQ – Certified Quality Manager, Quality Auditor, etc.)
- Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong experience with reporting, data analysis, and statistical concepts
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains and continually improves the Quality Management System
- Directs audits that ensure compliance with established processes and procedures and ensures that audit criteria and resources align with business priorities
- Establishes effective communication channels that ensure the flow of quality-related information into and out of the department
- Communicates with stakeholders regarding quality findings
- Partners with stakeholders to identify quality trends and improvements that will increase the quality of service provided by the organization
- Monitors and manages key metrics pertaining to process and product performance
- Identifies and develops new quality metrics as needs arise
- Promotes quality principles and performance across the organization
- Conducts and documents management reviews
- Oversees hiring, development, retention, and performance management of staff
- Educate, coach and mentor in inspection methods, auditing, root cause corrective action and quality philosophy, methodology and tools
- Ensures calibration standards are met
- Assists in development of strategic and tactical plans to ensure achievement of company and departmental goals
- Partners with engineering to manage the document control process
- Monitors and measures customer satisfaction.
