- Supporting the underwriters in the reserving, pricing and analysis.
- Capital allocation discussions between the enterprise risk management and analyst units.
- Demonstrates pricing accuracy and solid judgment in making pricing decisions.
- Work independently, or with a team on projects, reserve and pricing analyses, competitive analyses, and miscellaneous projects for all property and casualty lines of business.
- Generating innovative ideas and approaches to business problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Our client will consider an FCAS or a strong ACAS with 10+ years of experience.
- Reinsurance pricing an asset
- Previous experience in a Big 4 consulting firm or reinsurance experience preferred but the client will consider someone who has worked with a primary insurer but it shouldn’t be his / her primary experience.
- Prior experience with US property casualty market but will consider UK or Canadian actuaries with extensive US experience.
- Traditional products experience is mandatory, however, will consider non-traditional actuaries with extensive traditional experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of casualty actuarial techniques, standards, and assumptions.
- Excellent communication skills, problem solving, and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with actuarial and other insurance models.
