Responsible for the direct supervision and management of a small business development team,
Lead and develop all efforts within the business unit to expand core business and penetrate new markets.
Extensive experience in OEM -military and government contracting, increase our market share within the Aerospace and Technology arena
· Providing hands-on leadership and management of major proposals; developing and executing “Win” strategies; identifying, assessing and mitigating risks; leading proposal reviews; partnering with customers, proposal teams and leadership teams in winning new business
· Developing and implementing business plans and strategies for expanding core business and penetrating new markets
· Leading new business reviews within the business unit; supporting customer or vertical market level business development initiatives and strategic planning
· Analyzing wins and losses for lessons learned and implementing process improvements to increase effective use of marketing dollars
Advanced technical and/or business degrees Required
10-15 years directly related business development/management experience and established contacts within the component and subsystem suppliers, Military bases, MRO, and US Government communities.
Active DoD security clearance or can obtain a DoD security clearance.
Travel may be required not to exceed over 40%
