Insurance and Financial Services Agent

Since candidates come to us from a wide variety of backgrounds, my hope is that we can meet to discuss if you would be a good fit with the Farmers® culture, in a position as an Insurance Agent. An agent with Farmers® is a sales professional and owner of a profitable small business. The position is a rewarding responsibility for the right candidate…and that candidate would know that an agent’s success would depend on his/her application of the following three things:

·         Seeing enough people
·         Saying the right things
·         Doing the right things

If you are the right candidate, you do not have an unacceptable criminal record or credit history, understanding that the position is one requiring licensure and dealing with monies. The right candidate would also be resourceful enough to research this company and this district manager and read about the position…at least on the company website; make inquiry from there to touch base (perhaps) and be concerned and inquisitive enough about the direction of the company so as to have questions and understand the ties to his/her potential success. One very key element is the right candidate has a “seed of discontent” with his/her current situation or outlook. Maybe that describes you.

This position would involve your willingness to obtain your state Property/Casualty, Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses if you do not already have them. We guide all of our candidates through the licensing process as needed; and through our own Reserve and Career Development Systems, provide almost 2 ½ years of education and training. Pay would involve an initial short period of commissions only – as a Reserve Agent, when it is okay to either work at this full-time or have another job during a period of transition into this position…and that “Reserve” period can last from 1 to 12 months (it goes at your pace); after which an agent is subsidized for up to 2 years, until he/she reaches a point of earning commissions alone. Bonuses and benefits become available after the initial Reserve Program is complete…at which time the agent earns commissions from the company that has the highest-paying overall commission structure of all the multiple lines insurers in the country…Farmers®.

The initial process involves: 1) interview with me, 2) completing a Personal History Form and application, 3) recommendation from me; and 4) approval from the Farmers® Insurance Group of Companies.

When you take the time to learn more about Farmers®, I hope you will find that for the right individual, we offer incomparable opportunities for income, growth, career fulfillment and success within a powerful and flourishing industry.

Please make contact with us by email to mighty40@comcast.net; by telephone: (517) 381-9100 or by website: www.farmersagent.com/bseipel/…and we will be happy to help you learn more. If you have an updated resume, please attach it…otherwise, feel free to just plan to tell us your story.

Sincerely,

Brian Seipel
