Title: Java Programmer
Location: Vicksburg, MS
Job Description: Experienced Programmer with skills and experience in JAVA, XML, and Database Development using SQL and Oracle.
Required Experience: 4+ years in JAVA Development – Current Experience preferred – JAVA Certifications a plus
Skill Set:
* Oracle Database certification (OCA/OCP) is a plus
* Must possess the ability to work in a diverse and integrated
hardware/software environment.
* Motivated, self starter with the ability to work with minimal
supervision.
* Strong understanding of database architecture including processes,
structures
* Strong understanding of entity relational diagrams and integrity
constraints.
* Strong understanding of database level programming such as triggers,
procedures and packages.
* Ability to code and recompile packages and code functions and
procedures preferred(PL/SQL skills)
* Exceptional problem solving skills, communication skills and be a
good team player.
* Ability to write clear documentation of operating procedures and
specifications.
* Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems.
* Expert knowledge of Oracle 10g.
* Ability to support and work within standard software development
life cycle practices.
* Database creation, upgrades, consulting and database backup and
restoration.
* Expert Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) skills to create and
migrate data to new database for the transition of support to functional owners.
