Are you a mid level to senior J2EE/Java developer?  If you are then this might be a great opportunity for you to join a top company and become part of a dynamic team.  Our client needs someone who has a great track record as a software developer you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining application structures which serve as the foundation for supply chain production systems.  You will be required to participate in the full product life cycle for development and support of J2EE applications and standalone Java applications.  You will also be required to develop code for implementing new software functionality by interfacing directly with other department to determine and acquire the specific needs.  Once this is accomplished you will then document, code, and test new software, enhancements or corrections to existing software.  You will be a key link required to work with the System Operations team to resolve customer problems, identify software defects, and to ensure the quality of any modified or new software.  You will also develop and perform unit, system and integration testing.  You will participate in the peer review process, provide constructive recommendations for approaching various issues facing the development team.  Be a productive and viable part of the development team in all aspects of life cycle development and in supporting the business 7x24 during extraordinary or emergency situations.

BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Interactive Technology or related discipline is preferred.  Minimum of 4 years demonstrated hands-on experience in data intensive information systems, demonstrated proficiency in developing and deploying J2EE  MVC applications, specifically using Java Server Faces (JSF). J2EE certifications are a plus.  Experience developing J2ee applications using an Eclipse IDE a plus. Experience using Spring Framework, and Hibernate annotations a plus. Experience working with a J2EE Application Server and experience with JBoss is a plus.  In-depth knowledge of web content presentation methods such as HTML, XSL, XML, CSS etc.  Knowledge and expertise with object-relational mapping, JDBC, SQL, and Oracle 10g.  Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through various stages of the software development life cycle. Experience with manipulating XML through Java and XSLT.
