Job Description
- Teachers will be teaching in private institutes or schools.
- Teaching English mainly for preschool to middle school students.
- Student and program evaluation.
- Your school will provide you with textbooks appropriate to the student's age and English level.
Requirements
1. University degree (B.A, B.S) or higher at any major. Official Diploma required
2. Native English speaker (U.S CITIZEN)
3. No Criminal record
4. Good Health condition
5. No experience about teaching OK.
6. 1 year contract
Benefits and Conditions
Period of Contract : 1 year (E-2 VISA holder can stay in Korea for a year. This is renewable)
Teaching hours :30 hrs/week
Class size and level : 10-15 students/class and basic to high level
Salary : 2.2-2.4 million won per month (2000-2200 USD Depend on currency ratio)
But low tax and Free Apartment
Overtime pay : 20,000 won/hour
Severance pay : 1 Month severance pay after one year
Accommodations : FREE (furnished) Studio Apartment
Airfare : Free Air-ticket
Medical care : Generally half provided
Vacation : 10 Days Paid vacation and National Holidays
Tax rate : 3.5 ~ 5%
Working days : Monday to Friday (Some institutes offer Saturday Classes)
