There is a program called P.R.O.E.S, it's located at1020 Bolivar Road, Cleveland, OH 44115 (2nd floor of the Employment Connection Building). iIt's behind Jacobs Field. It's an exteneded job rediness program (only 16 days) Mon-Thur 9-1. This is only for ex-offenders. They teach you how to get a job being an offender. They have their own accounts with various employers that they can assist you in getting a job. It's well worth it because I went through there and I am employed now. Also, we have well over 108 felons who got a job. You still have to do your foot work as well, that means in the process you still fill out applications even if you know they are going to tell you no. That's to show the staff initiative from you, that you really want to work. They will give you transportation tickets for everyday of class. And if you get a job in the midst of the class, then you can get work clothing and tickets to go to work until you receive your check...It's not like any other program! It's awesome.
